Aside from green tea, which I talked about before, another potent anticancer compound is turmeric. This spice, commonly used in Indian/Pakistani food, is actually one among many spice antioxidants. You can see a partial list in the picture at the bottom of this post. The active ingredient in turmeric, called curcumin, has been shown to reduce brain tumor size (in animals) by 81%! It's so easy to incorporate into your diet, because it can be added to just about anything; I particularly like it mixed in my salads, or on vegetables. You can use it just as you would any spice, such as chili powder or mustard seed. Take a look at the article below to read more!
